About This Tea
Houjicha is made by baking or oven roasting harvested Sencha, resulting in a darker, roasted brew. Baking tea lowers the caffeine and tannin content and makes Houjicha comparable to decaffeinated teas. It is said to have some relaxing effects on the body and is traditionally enjoyed during meals or before bed.

How to Brew
- Start with filtered water for the best brew.
