About This Tea
Also known as Twig Tea or Bocha, Kukicha is made out of stems, stalks, and twigs left over from the production of Sencha or Matcha. It is processed as a green tea and imparts a unique flavor and aroma compared to other teas from including parts of the plant that most other teas do not have. Naturally low in caffeine, Kukicha is often steeped for three or four infusions.
