Also known as Huang Qi or milk vetch, Astragalus has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. It is known to boost the body’s immune system with antioxidant effects that inhibit free radical production. It is also used to treat various other conditions, including heart disease.

How to Brew
- Start with filtered water for the best brew.
- Use 1 stick for every 8 oz. of hot water. You can break it into pieaces to better fit your brewing vessel. Adjust amount to your preferences.
- The ideal water temperature is just under boiling point, between 200-212°F.
- Brew for 5 to 7 minutes.
